Wedding photos

Well, it was a fabulous day, wasn't it? We had a blast, anyway. Thanks to each of you for being there to support and celebrate with us.

The Big Day

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Hycroft, a beautiful old Gatsby-esque mansion. Take a virtual tour of Hycroft here.

The ceremony starts at 5:30 and we'll be hitched by 6:00. Then we'll break out the champagne and celebrate. This will be a fairly early evening. It's a Sunday after all. Think late-afternoon cocktails on the veranda, not party-til-the-wee-hours.

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting. Please wear appropriate footwear and sunscreen. Bonus points for 1920s-inspired fashion.

Getting there

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Hycroft, located at 1489 McRae Avenue, Vancouver, near the intersection of Granville Street and West 16th Avenue.

Hycroft does not allow parking onsite, however there is plenty of free street parking nearby on The Crescent and Angus Drive.

Van Django

So, there's this band playing our wedding called Van Django. Van Django is described as, "an exciting and entertaining quartet inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s 1930’s swinging gypsy jazz group, Quintet of the Hot Club of France." We're pretty excited to have them.
